Everything was great, my wife and I had a wonderful Valentine's Day, but the tables were a bit cramped, almost touching the table next to us. Also, the çiğköfte (raw meatball dish) is better at the Tershane restaurant in Istanbul; we couldn't find the same taste here. Still, everything was great.
Today, my son and I were at Armada Günaydın for lunch. Even though we didn't have a reservation, they treated us very well. Positive Aspects: • Meat Quality: The food was served on time and piping hot. The cooking and quality of the meat met our expectations; although the prices are slightly above average, it's worth it for the quality. • Service: The staff were extremely polite and attentive. The complimentary fruit after the meal was a very kind gesture. • Ambiance: Since it was lunchtime, the atmosphere was calm, and we enjoyed our meal. Criticisms: • Tulum Cheese Salad: Unfortunately, the salad disappointed us. It consisted entirely of herbs, lacked dressing, and generally had no flavor. It was far from the delicious salads we've had before; it needs some refinement. • Decoration: While the place is generally nice, the density of accessories and furnishings is a bit excessive. This can create a visually confusing and tiring feeling; a simpler decoration would make the place much more spacious.
I enjoyed the meal, and the staff were very polite. However, this is the first time I've seen someone charge for water poured into my glass without asking. I was going to give a larger tip anyway. There's no need for such cheap tactics.
