We thank Mr. Özcan. Everything was wonderful.
Mr. Özcan took excellent care of us. The breakfast was fantastic. It has a wonderful atmosphere where you can come with your family. There's also a puppet show for children.
We went there for iftar (breaking the fast). The staff were attentive and friendly. The atmosphere was pleasant. The food was delicious. I recommend it.
Even though we went at lunchtime, they said they didn't have meatballs; the Iskender kebab was normal.
My comment dated 29.05.2025 (I accidentally posted it elsewhere, so I wanted to forward it to the original owner): Unfortunately, the signature Iskender kebab place of the past is practically …
A bowl of soup cost 420 TL, it came in a tiny bowl and was very tasteless. The service was very slow, the waiters were like zombies. The price-performance ratio is very bad. And it's supposed to be a historical place. I would never recommend it.
I definitely don't recommend it. Especially avoid going during Ramadan. The complimentary treats are nonexistent. Whether you go with two people or four, you get the same standard portions. The prices are quite expensive.
It has somehow withstood the test of time, maintaining a name until today, but there is absolutely no professional service. They've put two puppets in the middle, operating with the mentality of "whoever we can bring down." The menu is exorbitantly expensive, and they lack the service and quality to justify their price.
If you are a 25-year-old woman wanting to eat alone, don't choose this place. They might not take you seriously and might not even put a menu in front of you for 20 minutes (despite your requests). You'll end up getting up and leaving.
