We bought baklava for our guests, but it was all glucose syrup. Nobody ate it, we were embarrassed.

I've been eating Güllüoğlu baklava for years, but today's experience was a complete disappointment. I bought dry baklava and walnut baklava from your Batıkent Anıt branch, and I could only eat one slice; it was awful, unbelievable. I think they've been there for a month, maybe two. It can't be this bad. I don't understand how something so stale can be sold. I wouldn't expect this from a brand like Güllüoğlu.

On March 7, 2026, we bought pistachio baklava and mussel-shaped baklava. Both the pistachio baklava and especially the mussel-shaped baklava were quite stale and had been sitting for a while. The pistachio baklava cost 1.650 lira per kilo, and the mussel-shaped baklava cost 2.000 lira per kilo. We even took them to a gathering and were very embarrassed. This was our last purchase from them.

I ordered baklava and they brought it all as a side dish.
