I've seen so many countries, traveled so much, eaten and drunk so much. And as a staff member of the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Food, I know these things and the quality of the products well. Honestly, I've never eaten such …
Beautiful setting. The crispy sea bass was excellent. The atmosphere is lovely, the service is great.
Last night, we went to the restaurant with a reservation for two. The lakerda (cured fish) was excessively bony, so we told the waiter to cancel it because we couldn't eat it and set it aside. We ordered tomato salad, and they charged us 450 TL for it. Even though we canceled the lakerda, they charged us 500 TL for that. On top of that, they added 450 TL to the bill for the fruit they brought (it was just a small boat-shaped dish of mandarin, apple, and kiwi), which is complimentary everywhere else in Ankara. As if that wasn't enough, the clientele inside was quite unusual; a 60-year-old man and a 20-year-old woman dressed very revealingly were sitting at the same table. I don't think it's very suitable for a family atmosphere, and perhaps that's why the prices are so high.
