Bread and water are expensive... but it was very good, I'll come back often.

We went as a group of two. The appetizers were good. The atmosphere perfectly suited the concept... so far so good... also, the fact that it's in our neighborhood was a reason for us to choose it. Then the bill came. Our appetizer order, worth 1500 TL, came to a total of 2100 TL. When I asked why, they said they charged a 600 TL cover charge for bread and water. I asked what percentage they were charging for the cover charge, and they continued to take the payment indifferently. Even though I said three times, "Look, I won't come again," they processed the card payment with an attitude like, "If you don't come, don't come." What I mean is, it's not inflation that will destroy us, it's the uncontrolled market. I wrote this to raise awareness. Everyone should check their bills. Money has really gone astray. Opportunists are at work. It looks like we'll have to make our appetizers at home from now on.

I'm writing this with sadness!! It has changed drastically for the worse! There is clear exploitation. Proven! It was a place I'd been going to for many years, though not very often, and most importantly, one I trusted. We ordered a few appetizers and two main courses; we specifically ordered one portion of calamari and one shrimp casserole. They never offered to bring a "one and a half portions" instead, but when the bill came, they priced some of the expensive items as 1.5 portions, even though we didn't ask for them. For a tiny shrimp casserole, and despite us specifically asking for one portion, they charged 1.125 TL for 1.5 portions. When I asked the person who took our order, they said he wasn't there, he was downstairs. For some reason, he didn't come downstairs for half an hour. The appetizers have changed a lot compared to 3-4 months ago; the difference in the quality of the ingredients is very clear. This place, which has been successfully implementing the "bring your own drink" concept for many years, is unfortunately a complete disappointment for us. We will never go to this place again, and we will warn everyone around us. It's a complete disappointment that a long-established and reputable establishment in Ankara would engage in such dishonest practices and experience such a decline in quality... what a shame...
