Honestly, it's an incredibly friendly place. I don't usually leave reviews for every place, but they bring you more than you ask for. It's one of the rare businesses that prioritizes customer satisfaction. Thank you!
The food is delicious, but every time we come, even when no one else is there, we wait at least 40 minutes. It would be great if the service wasn't so slow.
Although we went at lunchtime, the service was a bit slow. The noodles were the same quality you'd find in any Asian restaurant, so I wouldn't say anything particularly special. The sushi had too much rice, but the portion was adequate. I wouldn't say it's good value for money; it's definitely more expensive than it should be.
It was great until 4-5 months ago. I think it changed hands and the taste of the sushi changed. After sitting there for 10 minutes, they told us they didn't serve sushi anymore.
Update: Unfortunately, the sushi chefs have changed. The rice is now excessively mushy and used in excessive amounts. The thickness of the meat slices in the nigiri has decreased significantly; they cut it very thinly. They've added melted cheddar to many of their products, which is completely unsuitable for Japanese cuisine. I can say they need a complete overhaul now. The sushi rice is good, I'd say a little al dente. It's much better than it should be, considering it's mushy and sweeter than it should be. These are the biggest mistakes I've seen with sushi rice in Turkey; it's either too sweet or too mushy. I'd give it a 4/5 here. Salmon nigiri 5/5 - they have very good, fatty Norwegian salmon; you shouldn't stray from that for nigiri. Suzuki, sea bass 3/5 I think they have some good ideas in their premium rolls. I liked the Chimicurri premium roll 8/10 Kani tempura roll 3/5 Boston roll 4/5 Mochi 4/5 - the dough doesn't quite feel right to the palate. I appreciate that they make it themselves. It's not easy to make mochi from scratch. I think if they improve the dough, it will be a very good mochi. The sugar content isn't overpowering, it's just right. Maybe steaming the rice dough would give it a better texture. The complimentary shrimp chips and the sauce that came with them were fantastic!
