Simit Cafe

The authentic Ankara simit (sesame bagel) is baked in a wood-fired oven, and no matter what time I go, it's always warm and delicious until noon. The prices are reasonable, and the Ramadan pide (flatbread) is amazing... They've also started making minced meat pide during Ramadan. We tried it; the dough was very thin and soft, not dry and hard at the edges like some other pide shops make. Their service is top-notch.

During Ramadan, neither the flatbreads nor the desserts are good. Unfortunately, that's the situation.
